We are off on assignment to Brewster – yep – Cape Cod! I was pretty excited about this Foodies Magazine assignment. July – on the Cape, it’s going to be awesome! We’ll get up early, head to the town beach in Brewster, hang out until our meeting with Chef Toby Hill at the Brewster Fish House….
But alas – the weather did not cooperate. No beach time for us. But, we went early anyway and I am glad we did! We had a very cape cod lunch. Fresh sweet steamers for me. (I had a hard time deciding between mussels or steamers… Turns out the steamers did not disappoint.)
Meeting the Chef at the Brewster Fish House was just as excellent as the food. Chef Toby, winner of a Boston Lamb Jam, once voted Best Chef on Cape Cod, and blue cheese lover greeted us with a big warm handshake.
He was all smiles as he talked about the dish he was making for us to photograph and that was contagious. We were all smiles through the whole photo shoot. I couldn’t help but think about how we would definitely be back to this restaurant again….soon.
